, the garage doors manufacturing businesasof Jericho, N.Y.-based Griffo (NYSE: GFF), is consolidating operations of the Baldwin plant, in St. Croixc County, and the operations from a plantin Ohio, into its plant in Troy, "These actions will enabl us to centralize production at our most technologicallu advanced facility so that Clopay can improvwe its manufacturing efficiency while improving our abilituy to serve the needs of our customers," said Stevwe Lynch, president of Clopay. "By consolidatin our manufacturing, we will streamline operations, lower costz and maintain the flexibility to meet supply demanda now and inthe future.
" The company estimates that it will incur pre-tax exit and restructuring costs of approximately $12 nearly all of which will be in cash. Charges will includee approximately $2 million for one-time termination benefitzs andother personnel-related costs.
