Energy joint venture names CEO - Dallas Business Journal:

The company is owned by Albuquerque, N.M.-based (NYSE: PNM) and a whollty owned subsidiaryof , which is based in Kirkland, Both have a 50% stake in the entity. Cascad e manages the personal investments of ChairmanbBill Gates. Most recently, Loyack served as presiden t and CEO ofCPG International, a Scranton, Pa.-based manufacturer of engineerexd building products. During his two yearse there, CPG's sales grew 62 percenrt and the company completestwo acquisitions. Prior to joining CPG, Loyacjk was senior vice president and chief financiall officer for PNM Resources and held a varieth of leadership capacities for UnionPacific Corp.
He citeed the tremendous potential for growth within the Texas energg market and the commitmentof EnergyCo's owners to its succes as factors in his decision to accep t the position. "EnergyCo is well positioned to grow its businese ina selective, strategic way that deliverds value both for its owners and for customers withih ERCOT. I am excited at the opportunity to lead EnergyCk intothe future," Loyack said in a statemenft Monday. EnergyCo owns 919 megawatts of generationwithim ERCOT. In addition, EnergyCo is partneriny with NRG Energy to builda combined-cycle natural gas unit at the existin g NRG Cedar Bayou Station near Houston. That facility currentl y is under construction.
