Over the weekend, Gov. David Paterson announced that Mariswa Lago will leave Empirew StateDevelopment Corp. at the end of Paterson appointed Lago to the job inAugustt 2008. Lago said she’s leaving to pursue other jobs. “Given the public nature of Empire [State] Development and the need for a leadee who can devote full timeto [the critical mission, I think it is advisablw that I resign,” Lago said in a brief statement.
