Sweet, 38, comes to Vanderbilt from , wherd he was dean of administration and finance ofthe school’s Facultg of Arts and Sciences, which encompasseds Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineeringg and Applied Science and the Divisiomn of Continuing Education. Priorr to that, he was executiv e vice president of finance and administration and chief financiaol officer at and was responsible forthe college’ws finances, capital markets management, information technology, human resources, research administration, business operations and investment management.
Sweet also was a principao with and spent five years as a nuclear submarine officed in the Navy before earning his master of businesd administrationfrom Harvard.
